Yes You Were a Young Rapist
I wonder what you tell yourself to make you sleep at night,
did you think it was consent even when she put up a fight.
I wonder what you told yourself as your life you proceed,
As she yelled.. NO THIS IS RAPE, but you thought she concede.
I wonder if you confessed this ugly sin that you did in your youth,
did you repent or continue this hidden lie, in and out of your abuse booth.
Did you continue that taste of desire to hurt another,
or hid in the pack of your rapist band of brothers.
A group of cowards, bullies, thinking that you somehow are real men,
got a shock for you, You are not, and never have been.
Now you maybe in your 50’s married or probably gay,
is that why you did it..you were confused, so you hurt women in every way.
So if you continued to deceive yourself, and the so called life you built,
and never faced the lives you destroyed the many souls you’ve killed.
If you are a real man, and the statue of limitation takes away your crime,
then what do you have to fear, still need to MAN up and face the truth who you were in your past time.
I truly hope that you are no longer that person, whether in your pack, or alone,
that you dealt with your sin, and not trying to hide, or pretend around others forgetting as you now cast your stone.
All of us have done things, that we regret and probably are ashamed,
so the sin of rape, is rape and you are, or was a rapist no matter what, that’s your name.
God does forgive, and the many young students you took advantage of may also forgive you,
however unless you forgive yourself and take responsibility it does not matter what you do.
This poem was written so that you can look in that mirror you think you are hiding behind,
and confess, face it, and man up and hopefully help others STOP this ugly crime.
Bullying is the beginning, and your looks, money, or popularity is not or never was consent,
now take ownership and help others, you know where to find them, so they don’t take the path you went.
The goal is to stop all of the young bullies, from abusing, thinking a smile or flirt is a right of passage,
thank you for confessing your evil, and let’s expose it, by accepting and spreading this realistic message.
I was a young rapist, or I still have a problem, is the first step you have to face,
this would be a beginning confession, enough is enough, and we are here to help you, healing you too..yes you, this is how we begin this race.
Start today…no excuses, heal by moving forward and know you are still loved..no fear,
it takes courage so to help you to begin healing, begin with confessing…and you are not alone we all are here.
Not to cast judgment, or to cast blame of any kind,
we are here to help you heal, teach others and deliver others from this state of mind.
So yes….you were a young rapist, a bully, and hope you can see yourself now in a different way,
that you now have a message to deliver to others, this is who you were, and are no longer..freedom and healing is here to stay.
